Noah stood quietly beside the pool, leaning again the wall. He could see the reflection of only his face, the scar from his mother still there from eight years ago. He shuddered, still remembering the pain he felt when he first took that punch- and the terrified and disbelieving shout his father let out when he saw his son was bleeding. Now there was a restraining order between him and his mom. He was still close with his dad, he just felt distant from him now. His notebook with some of his random quotes of anger in it was in his left hand loosely.
He heard a thump beside him, not exactly right next to him, but near. Noah looked over curiously, only to feel his notebook slip from his hand. He turned around and saw a recognized but annoying kid running off with it. "Hey!" He exclaimed, a demeaning echo bouncing off of the pool walls. He chased the guy around and finally slapped the book out of his hand. Now he was annoyed and angry, and he couldn't help himself but push the other kid into the water.
He looked over at his book to see it was lying right in front of someones feet.

Alexis walked into the pool area. She had pulled her hair up into a loose hanging bun and slipped her sunglasses on top of her head before she walked to the pool. She'd just come from soccer practice, and she needed to just cool off. She had quickly changed into her bathing suit before practice ended so she was good for right now.
She looked over has a guy stole a notebook from another guy. She recognized both of them but couldn't quite put her finger on who they were. She watched as the one who had stolen the notebook ran off, only to be followed by the other one and pushed into the pool. She giggled softly and started to walk, only to jump back a bit, startled by the book that lay just a few inches in front of her feet. She looked at it for a second then back up, raising an eyebrow slightly before bending down and picking it up gently.

Jem raced through the hallway on his jetpack. Dangerous? You bet it was. That didn't matter. Not at the moment. He had to save the girl from drowning! She had fallen off of a cliff..and he needed to be fast. He ended up going so fast that he crashed into a wall and nearly fell backward.
Okay, so he wasn't some sort of hero on a jetpack. He didn't even own a jetpack and he was pretty sure that they were either illegal or did not exist yet. But he'd try anything to entertain himself while he hung out at the school, waiting for the right time to walk home. Staying late was a habbit of his, having no real reason to want to go home. Well...he kind of considered his now red eye as a good reason to go home, but something else caught his attention.
He had stopped near the pool area and he saw someone standing with a notebook. He was about to turn around until he realized who it looked like from the back. Lucas..he had seen the guy around with Jezalee Cross. Oh, how he despised that girl. He didn't get how someone could spend so much time with a girl like her without stabbing his own eyes. When he saw the notebook, he immediately assumed it was Jezalee's song book, which he had been dying to get his hands on for a while. Of course, he wasn't going to resist the perfect opportunity.
He made a run for it. To his satisfaction, he had it in his hands in no time. However he quickly realized that he had made a mistake. This guy wasn't Lucas..it was some other kid he didn't really know. Damn.. Before he could slow down and get his thoughts together, the notebook was out of reach and he was under water.
As soon as his head reached the surface of the water , he coughed for a few seconds before looking up. Okay, so I may have sort of slightly deserved that.. he said between coughs. But in my defense, I thought you were..oh nevermind.. He couldn't say much to help him and he knew it. There was no way he could blame it on this other guy. Needless to say he had no idea who he was messing with when he grabbed that book.

Noah looked from left to right and then back to the kid in the water. An annoyed and angry look on his face. His pursed his lips and decided to do this more gently than usual. He kneeled, took the guy's collar and pulled him out of the water a little bit. He wasn't straining to do it either; he had natural strength in him. It usually showed when he was angry or just plain upset. The rebel yanked the kid towards the pool edge. The look in his eyes was a predator's, the eyes of a hawk looking at a mouse.
"Do you know who you're messin' with?" Noah asked, not expecting an answer. He was planning on seeing a frightened look, but he didn't know what to expect. Of course, he tried to act tough and scary all the time, but often, he was afraid of what would happen after what he did now.
He unclenched his hand and pushed the kid back into the water, turning around and standing back up. He looked at the girl holding his notebook. She seemed to be confused, but unaffected by his harsh remark. He held out his hand stolidly, waiting for her to hand his notebook back over. "Give it." He muttered with no emotion. He would thank her, but he disliked that, so he thanked people around 4 to 5 days later.

Alexis raised an eyebrow as she watched the boy push the other one into the pool again. She shook her head softly at the violence and snickered softly. She really hated violence. She wasn't a person who needed peace 24-7 or anything, she just strongly disliked it. It mostly reminded her of her mom and dad when they had fights and such, and she didn't want to think back on it, or re-live it. She looked at the slightly wet notebook in her hand.
She started dumbly as the guy who the notebook belonged to held his hand out and plainly told her to give it to him. She disliked rude people so her attitude side came out when she held her wrist back a bit, making it just out of his reach. "Please?" she said, more than a statement then a question. She knew she was probably annoying to him and was pissing him off, but right now she honestly didn't care. If he did anything to set her on edge, she'd just do what he did to the guy who stole his notebook. Push him in the pool.

Okay, this dude was definitely on something. That or he missed his last therapy session. What the hell was wrong with him? He looked so pissed off standing there by the edge that the steam coming from his ears could evaporate the water from the pool. Suddenly, Jem was being tugged by the shirt collar. Damn, this guy was strong.
Inside, Jem's heart was pounding, not really wanting to get punched today, but he tried to keep himself together on the outside, as he always did. Showing fear to a bully was just adding fuel to the fire. He replied to the guy, his voice a bit more high pitched than normal for the first second. Ya might .. Hearing how frightened his voice sounded made him cringe, and he took it down a notch, getting a grip on the situation. ..not wanna get your hands on me..I'm a little wet, he finished.
He intentionally ignored the guy's question until he was, once again, nearly pushed under the water. No..but I think he's in a pissy mood. Could you give him a hug for me? Being out of the psychopath's grip gave him new confidence quickly, and it wasn't hard to spit out childish, sarcastic remarks. It was almost fun doing it to something who reacted like that. This guy was almost as fun as Jezalee. The touchy ones were always fun...while they weren't the ones in the lead.
Jem watched the girl who had seen the whole thing, staying toward the middle of the pool while trying to decide whether or not he should even get out. He was already soaked, and at that moment, he was probably safer to keep his smart mouth out of reach.

Noah looked at the other boy with a disbelieving look in his eyes. "Yeah, great excuse, just because your freakin' soaking wet means I'll let go of you." He snapped before he pushed him into the water. As he turned to the girl, his faced turned from angry to frustrated. He wasn't going to hurt her as long as he didn't annoy him as much as the other guy. He was often in this kind of mood; he didn't really notice it much anymore. It was common as seeing grass in a field.
He growled as she pulled his notebook away from him and stated that he should be polite. "No..but I think he's in a pissy mood. Could you give him a hug for me?" He hear the guy say. Apparently he just loved to drive people insane. "Damn right I'm in a pissy mood." He muttered, flinching at the echoes off the pool walls. He shook his head a yanked his notebook back and began to walk away, just as a teacher walking in and began chewing him out.
"Are you crazy... You could have killed... You could be expelled..." Noah only heard bits and pieces of his teachers rage. he was thinking only about if the thief had read anything of his notebook; the sentences of his past anger fits. They fascinated him, how many times he had gotten set off and how bad they were. One had a hole from his pencil, another was ripped to shreds but still on the spiral that held it together- it was the only thing that kept hold of his history.
