ABOUT YOU: I'm sixteen, I've been role playing for so long I can't remember a time I wasn't, and role playing is my outlet for pent-up creativity.
Name: Bryn Hazel George
Age: Born on May 16, 1994, she is currently seventeen.
Physical Description:
First thing you notice about Bryn is the height difference between yourself and her. She's stands at a solid five feet, although she is often in shoes with a minor heel. She has an even tone dark, brown hair. Her eyes are hazel, so there are days they seem almost as dark as her hair and other days they lean more towards a crystal blue-green color.
History:
Born and raised in Georgia with her parents in a loving, upper class home. An only child because her Mother was never able to get pregnant again, the George's loved and cherished their daughter from day one. Her Father, Ryan, is a technical engineer and has never had a problem providing for his family. Her Mother, Cheyenne, worked as Realtor before her death when Bryn was fourteen.
Before her mother's death, Bryn has a seemingly normal life. Although, doesn't everyone? Her family was very involved in their church and Bryn went to a private academy in Georgia. Every family has their secrets and pains, but none too dramatic for Bryn. Her parents had a strong marriage, not really based in loved, more in mutual partnership and love for their daughter. Bryn was also enrolled in dance classes from a very early age. She went through all different levels and types of dance, learning even pointe ballet. It is certainly a huge part of her life, a passion really.
As mentioned, tragedy did strike Bryn's life when she was fourteen. In the beginning months of her freshman year her Mother had a brain aneurism while in the shower one morning. It came unexpectedly, and broke Bryn and her father's hearts. It was painful and caused a growing silence between the two. Her father buried himself in work, while Bryn ran away form the pain by using drugs and alcohol. It went on like this for a few years, but once Mr. George realized that Bryn's partying was only getting worse, he had to stop it. He decided that it would be better for Bryn to physically get away from the memory of her mother than to escape within herself. Now they've been here for Bryn's junior year, moving from Small Town, USA to the big NYC.
Personality:
Bryn is interesting. Quiet if she's sober, quite the opposite if she isn't. A dancer in the purest of ways.
She can be sarcastic like most teenagers, but far more open about herself than she should be. She has trust issues in the way that she trusts everyone until they hurt her, which can be her biggest downfall. Without her mother she searches for good and love in people, and refuses to see the bad. She's somewhat fickle, a try-hard who wants everyone to like her.
Bryn still dances whenever she can. She does a lot of yoga and eats a ton of health food, anything that might ease a pain she can't quite describe.
This is from awhile ago...
Katya Baranova was cold. She had just left a date with the ultimate tool, a boy, a friend had convinced her to go on a date with and was now making her way through the park towards one of her favorite places. Even though it wasn't late or even cold there was a slight breeze and considering the lack of clothing she was wearing her arms were covered in goosebumps and she was seriously regretting her lack of a sweater. It had been warm when she left so the light, ruffled mini dress she was wearing had been suitable, the matching heels also made sense as dinner in a fancy restaurants rarely, in her experience anyway, did not end in treks through wooded areas.
As she continued walking she found herself wishing she had brought her camera, the lighting was fantastic at this time of day and would have made for some breath taking pictures. Kat was barely paying attention as she made her way forward on the familiar path until she caught site of a blond head she would recognize anywhere. Matthew Street was cautiously approaching a small boy who could have been him ten or so years ago and was clearly trying to get him to open up. Most people would probably be surprised by Matthew helping out anyone but Kat had known Mattie longer then most and this was totally in character for him. Unfortunately for him it didn't look like things would go well for him, a distraught and harried looking woman was approaching from the opposite direction and grabbed the boy and practically ran away more then likely thinking she was saving the boy from some lecherous madman. Holding back a laugh that would undoubtedly look odd since she was alone Kat walked closed to Mattie with every intention of talking to him. She could definitely use a pick me up after the day she'd had.
She sat next to him on the seat he had claimed for himself and crossed her legs, inwardly wincing as she recognized it for the not so subtle hint for him to check out her legs. Reminding herself that she was over Matthew Street and that they would only ever be friends she gave him a small grin unable to resist. "So do you always terrify young mothers and their small children or is this a new hobby for you?" She gave him one last rather cheeky grin and waited for his response, silently wondering what approach he would take.
