So much drama (class)

Zack Dueler had pretty big plans for the next two months when it came to drama, there was a big play he had in mind for the whole school, that most people would get involved with, there was something for everyone not just the stage Junkies as they were called. Zack had made sure the head was okay with it all and had gotten the go ahead yesterday now he just had to start the auditions, he had put the sheets up so was expecting people.

The play was called "In Holways shadow" it was a story about two kingdoms, Holway and Dasdnia, the main characters where, Kironi Cartright The eleven prince Dasdnia, Jaques Semor the young Teen king of Holway, Masaqi Holandar the notorious female nomad and Bella Jes a Mysterious women who has recently entered the lands and is to deliver a strange warning. There were other characters but those were the main ones, he had decided he would tell them more about the characters when they audition for them and then even more when they start. Zack looked around the room everything was now ready lighting and everything was perfect in the auditorium, so the auditions could begin.

Zack sat in one of the chairs of the auditorium awaiting people to enter, he knew there were people outside waiting for their friends before they came in, he was letting that go they could come in whenever they wanted to. Zack flipped over the sheet he was reading the story was good and it was very character and plot driven, he wanted only the best for the characters, however he would give anybody a chance, there was no point in leaving someone out. Zack heard someone walk in and his head shot up watching the person carefully.

Victoria grabbed her bag and quickly walked out of the class. She was excited now, she had heard about the play thing going on in the auditorium, but they needed more than just some stage junkies. She was hoping to put her art work on stage, maybe do a few prop and costume design. Maybe this small play would be her big break, maybe someone would be awed. Victoria tried to not get her hopes up; she didn’t even know if they would allow her to do so. She couldn’t help but feel her stomach twist in excited knots. She was also a little wary if even if she got to do something, where they would draw the line.

Victoria was very creative, and some people didn’t like her creativity. Loads of people didn’t like her style, but that didn’t mean she was incapable of doing clothes. Of course, the school would probably pull together their own before they let a student do it. Frowning, she put her books in her locker before she started making her way again. She wasn’t far, and she could already see the crowds of kids in front. She hoped there wasn’t a line, or anything stupid like that. Getting closer, she decided it was people waiting for friends and such. She saw the usual “ Stage Junkies” as they prepared before entering.

Pushing through the crowd of people clearing their throats, singing and other such things, Victoria took a deep breath before entering. She slung her bag on one shoulder, and flattened the front of her shirt. Her fingers ran over the rhinestone skull, and then over the harsh denim over her jeans. She felt nervous; she really didn’t like the idea of being rejected. She opened the door slightly, only enough for her to squeeze in. She felt goose bumps arise on her arms from the drastic change in the cooling. Outside it had been hot inside it was super cold and Victoria wish she had grabbed her jacket.

Looking around she felt very tiny. The auditorium was huge and it was empty except for her and the school staff member at the table. Looking down at the floor she made her way towards him. She blushed and she clenched her fist slightly. She cleared her throat and looked at the staff person. “ Umm Hi, im Victoria..” She mentally slapped herself for blubbering like a genius, as she sheepishly looked up.

Zack watched carefully as the girl walked from the door which she had arrived at, he nodded to her before writing down her name as she spoke, he smiled softly at her, before standing up.
"Welcome Victoria, um your second name?" he asked her picking up the clipboard once more. He wrote his name and the name of the play up the top then walked down to the floor before looking directly at the girl.

"Thank you for joining us so tell me, what is it you wish to do, act, maybe create the music, the backstage work maybe or best of all the designing." Zack smiled he always found that the best parts to a play was always the acting and the designing, it was the most creative, it was where you could show of your flare your passion and your desire, is what Zack always said. Zack in his first play had decided to show the flare, yes he had gone for the acting and it had flown and worked its glorious magic ever since he stepped foot on a stage. He was alive in the acting, as many where alive in the design, the trick was to use part of yourself and put that into the effort.

"Oh you don't have to call me sir I don't see a point in titles, my name is Zack DUELER history and drama teacher, but call me Zack, you may find whenever you have my classes, that they are a little different compared to what your used to, more relaxed as well." Once he finished his speech he waited for her response to his more earlier question. He was wondering as well what his twin brother was up to at this moment, most likely he was doing one of his boring lessons.
